With great joy we joined the action “PZU Pomoc to Power”; in the Szczawno Zdrój district.

Together with MKS Mazbud Basket Basket Szczawno-Zdrój club, we managed to raise funds for the project “Safe district of Gmina Szczawno-Zdrój”; which was carried out as part of the action “PZU Pomoc To Moc” in Szczawno-Zdrój. The aim of the project “Safe ditrict of Szczawno-Zdrój “; is to equip the city with AED defibrillators and to train 200 residents, students and employees of the office or schools in the field of First Aid and AED usage. The amount of support received from PZU under the project is finally 61,803 PLN, which will allow to conduct several cycles of training, in addition to the purchase of 10 AED Samaritan Pad 350p defibrillators with cabinets to store them. The defibrillators will be located in key locations for the city, including the City Hall, Library, Spa House and Mineral Water Pump Room. The project has the support of the Mayor of Szczawno-Zdrój, Marek Fedorek, who offered his help in its implementation.
The financing of the project would not be possible without the partner, which is the “Real Dreams Association” from Olkusz. It was thanks to their support that it was possible to submit an application and now enjoy the support granted. The initiative was also supported by the residents, who gave their votes to the project on the PZU website www.pomoctomoc.pzu.pl/node/427, who collected over 800 votes.
